EV Market Share: Croatia

In January 2026, the automotive market in Croatia recorded a total of 3,964 new registrations. The adoption of electric vehicles continues to evolve, with Battery Electric Vehicles (BEV) capturing 3.5% of the market share. This represents a volume of 138 full-electric cars registered this month.

Compared to the same period last year, the BEV market share has grown by 0.1 percentage points (from 3.3% in 2024-12).

Looking at the broader picture, Plug-in Hybrids (PHEV) achieved a 7.0% share. Combined, plug-in vehicles (BEV + PHEV) account for 10.5% of all new car sales in Croatia for this period.
