EV Market Share: Croatia

In September 2026, the automotive market in Croatia recorded a total of 4,565 new registrations. The adoption of electric vehicles continues to evolve, with Battery Electric Vehicles (BEV) capturing 3.5% of the market share. This represents a volume of 160 full-electric cars registered this month.

Compared to the same period last year, the BEV market share has grown by 1.6 percentage points(from 1.9% in 2025-08).

Looking at the broader picture, Plug-in Hybrids (PHEV) achieved a 14.2% share. Combined, plug-in vehicles (BEV + PHEV) account for 17.7% of all new car sales in Croatia for this period.
