EV Market Share: Slovenia

In June 2026, the automotive market in Slovenia recorded a total of 6,684 new registrations. The adoption of electric vehicles continues to evolve, with Battery Electric Vehicles (BEV) capturing 25.3% of the market share. This represents a volume of 1,690 full-electric cars registered this month.

Compared to the same period last year, the BEV market share has grown by 13.9 percentage points (from 11.4% in 2025-06).

Looking at the broader picture, Plug-in Hybrids (PHEV) achieved a 2.8% share. Combined, plug-in vehicles (BEV + PHEV) account for 28.1% of all new car sales in Slovenia for this period.
