EV Market Share: Estonia

In June 2026, the automotive market in Estonia recorded a total of 1,932 new registrations. The adoption of electric vehicles continues to evolve, with Battery Electric Vehicles (BEV) capturing 7.6% of the market share. This represents a volume of 146 full-electric cars registered this month.

Compared to the same period last year, the BEV market share has grown by 1.8 percentage points (from 5.7% in 2025-06).

Looking at the broader picture, Plug-in Hybrids (PHEV) achieved a 8.3% share. Combined, plug-in vehicles (BEV + PHEV) account for 15.9% of all new car sales in Estonia for this period.
