EV Market Share: Poland

In January 2026, the automotive market in Poland recorded a total of 40,281 new registrations. The adoption of electric vehicles continues to evolve, with Battery Electric Vehicles (BEV) capturing 8.8% of the market share. This represents a volume of 3,544 full-electric cars registered this month.

Compared to the same period last year, the BEV market share has grown by 5.7 percentage points (from 3.1% in 2024-12).

Looking at the broader picture, Plug-in Hybrids (PHEV) achieved a 7.0% share. Combined, plug-in vehicles (BEV + PHEV) account for 15.8% of all new car sales in Poland for this period.
