EV Market Share: Slovakia

In March 2026, the automotive market in Slovakia recorded a total of 8,300 new registrations. The adoption of electric vehicles continues to evolve, with Battery Electric Vehicles (BEV) capturing 5.2% of the market share. This represents a volume of 432 full-electric cars registered this month.

Compared to the same period last year, the BEV market share has grown by 0.5 percentage points (from 4.7% in 2025-03).

Looking at the broader picture, Plug-in Hybrids (PHEV) achieved a 3.2% share. Combined, plug-in vehicles (BEV + PHEV) account for 8.4% of all new car sales in Slovakia for this period.
