EV Market Share: Slovakia

In June 2026, the automotive market in Slovakia recorded a total of 9,339 new registrations. The adoption of electric vehicles continues to evolve, with Battery Electric Vehicles (BEV) capturing 7.4% of the market share. This represents a volume of 694 full-electric cars registered this month.

Compared to the same period last year, the BEV market share has grown by 2.0 percentage points (from 5.5% in 2025-06).

Looking at the broader picture, Plug-in Hybrids (PHEV) achieved a 5.2% share. Combined, plug-in vehicles (BEV + PHEV) account for 12.7% of all new car sales in Slovakia for this period.
