EV Market Share: Lithuania

In March 2026, the automotive market in Lithuania recorded a total of 4,145 new registrations. The adoption of electric vehicles continues to evolve, with Battery Electric Vehicles (BEV) capturing 6.7% of the market share. This represents a volume of 278 full-electric cars registered this month.

Compared to the same period last year, the BEV market share has grown by 0.5 percentage points (from 6.3% in 2025-03).

Looking at the broader picture, Plug-in Hybrids (PHEV) achieved a 11.0% share. Combined, plug-in vehicles (BEV + PHEV) account for 17.7% of all new car sales in Lithuania for this period.
