EV Market Share: Lithuania

In January 2026, the automotive market in Lithuania recorded a total of 2,833 new registrations. The adoption of electric vehicles continues to evolve, with Battery Electric Vehicles (BEV) capturing 9.4% of the market share. This represents a volume of 266 full-electric cars registered this month.

Compared to the same period last year, the BEV market share has grown by 4.9 percentage points (from 4.5% in 2024-12).

Looking at the broader picture, Plug-in Hybrids (PHEV) achieved a 14.2% share. Combined, plug-in vehicles (BEV + PHEV) account for 23.6% of all new car sales in Lithuania for this period.
