EV Market Share: Lithuania

In September 2026, the automotive market in Lithuania recorded a total of 3,901 new registrations. The adoption of electric vehicles continues to evolve, with Battery Electric Vehicles (BEV) capturing 14.4% of the market share. This represents a volume of 561 full-electric cars registered this month.

Compared to the same period last year, the BEV market share has grown by 9.1 percentage points(from 5.3% in 2025-08).

Looking at the broader picture, Plug-in Hybrids (PHEV) achieved a 15.4% share. Combined, plug-in vehicles (BEV + PHEV) account for 29.8% of all new car sales in Lithuania for this period.
