EV Market Share: Lithuania

In June 2026, the automotive market in Lithuania recorded a total of 5,016 new registrations. The adoption of electric vehicles continues to evolve, with Battery Electric Vehicles (BEV) capturing 9.5% of the market share. This represents a volume of 475 full-electric cars registered this month.

Compared to the same period last year, the BEV market share has grown by 1.9 percentage points (from 7.5% in 2025-06).

Looking at the broader picture, Plug-in Hybrids (PHEV) achieved a 12.8% share. Combined, plug-in vehicles (BEV + PHEV) account for 22.2% of all new car sales in Lithuania for this period.
