EV Market Share: Greece

In March 2026, the automotive market in Greece recorded a total of 14,710 new registrations. The adoption of electric vehicles continues to evolve, with Battery Electric Vehicles (BEV) capturing 6.9% of the market share. This represents a volume of 1,015 full-electric cars registered this month.

Compared to the same period last year, the BEV market share has grown by 0.8 percentage points (from 6.1% in 2025-03).

Looking at the broader picture, Plug-in Hybrids (PHEV) achieved a 5.3% share. Combined, plug-in vehicles (BEV + PHEV) account for 12.2% of all new car sales in Greece for this period.
