EV Market Share: Greece

In June 2026, the automotive market in Greece recorded a total of 18,668 new registrations. The adoption of electric vehicles continues to evolve, with Battery Electric Vehicles (BEV) capturing 7.2% of the market share. This represents a volume of 1,346 full-electric cars registered this month.

Compared to the same period last year, the BEV market share has grown by 1.3 percentage points (from 5.9% in 2025-06).

Looking at the broader picture, Plug-in Hybrids (PHEV) achieved a 5.7% share. Combined, plug-in vehicles (BEV + PHEV) account for 12.9% of all new car sales in Greece for this period.
