EV Market Share: Finland

In June 2026, the automotive market in Finland recorded a total of 7,564 new registrations. The adoption of electric vehicles continues to evolve, with Battery Electric Vehicles (BEV) capturing 48.1% of the market share. This represents a volume of 3,642 full-electric cars registered this month.

Compared to the same period last year, the BEV market share has grown by 14.7 percentage points (from 33.4% in 2025-06).

Looking at the broader picture, Plug-in Hybrids (PHEV) achieved a 12.0% share. Combined, plug-in vehicles (BEV + PHEV) account for 60.2% of all new car sales in Finland for this period.
